National U19 Women's Manager Update

September 11, 2019

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Emily Herrington will be unable to continue in the role of Manager of the Australian Women's U19 team. Emily has dedicated a great deal of time and effort into helping prepare the team thus far and we thank her for her efforts.

As such, Floorball Australia are seeking expressions of interest for the Manager of the National U19 Women's Team.

This appointment will be for an initial period of two years and will cover the following:

  • Training camps in 2019 and 2020. Dates and locations to be confirmed.

  • The 2020 Women’s Under 19 World Floorball Championships, Uppsala, Sweden (6 May 2020 - 10 May 2020)

Please note the following:

  • Applicants for Team Manager Roles where there are players under 18 years of age will be required to obtain a Working With Children Check Card (or state equivalent) and may be required to agree to a police check.

  • You understand this is a voluntary role and as such there is no salary for this position. Accommodation, meals and travel costs for the tour will be covered and there may be some allowance for expenses incurred pre/post the tour (on prior agreement with FA Committee of Management). All other costs before, during and after the tour are at your own expense.

  • You understand that as Team Manager you are bound by the Policies and Codes of Conduct of Floorball Australia at all times for the period of your appointment.

On review by the Australian Floorball committee this contract may be extended.
